The oldest restaurant in Norway welcomes old and new guests by the new hosts.
 
It was an old dream come true when Ulla and her husband Bob Laycock took over as the hosts at the Værtshuset Bærums Verk.We will keep the traditions – follow the trail already made but at same time develop the consept further continuously.

Værtshuset is a classic and timeless place, we like it to be a ”real” guesthouse with real engagement. A place where guests feel at home and – just as important  - recognised. Everyone is to feel the comfortable atmosphere and it's unique identity. The good meal with food and drink and the very happening around the meal itself.

Værtshuset is like a living museum that gives your arrangement quite a special frame.
All our rooms are of different size and atmosphere. So be it client entertainment, board dinners, Christmas table, jubileum, birthdays, weddings, the Confirmation or Christening of your baby, Værtshuset will make the occasion just perfect.
